\nAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? The Justice and Families minor is an opportunity for students who want to explore how families are shaped by \u2013 and respond to \u2013 justice issues in today\u2019s world. This program looks at the challenges families face within social, political and economic systems and how communities can better support them.\n

Through this 18-credit interdisciplinary program, you will study topics such as family law, social policy, community initiatives and the impact of justice on diverse families. You will not only gain a deeper understanding of the issues affecting families but also develop valuable skills in problem-solving, communication and critical thinking \u2013 skills that will serve you in any career.<\/p>\n

Pairing this minor with your major can open doors to careers in public welfare, community advocacy, immigration support, family law, social research or gerontology.
