Of the 25 students selected from across the country from 360 eligible institutions, she is the only student from New Jersey!<\/p>\n<p>Melissa also recently found out she was selected to join this year&#8217;s group of students going to study in Japan this summer through the <a href=\"\/csam\/programs-and-opportunities\/ires-summer-biology-research-program-in-japan\/\">IRES Summer Research Program<\/a>.
