Students will engage directly in the conversation about democracy, bringing into focus the need for participation and the responsibility of being an informed and active participant. The contest will focus on the importance and power of voice and representation in a democratic practice.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Student prize winners <\/span><strong>Julie Henskens, Parham Mousa Elie, and Mari Zuniga<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> will collectively contextualize and reflect on the process as a whole, along with faculty panelists <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/profilepages\/view_profile.php?username=polea\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Antoinette Pole<\/span><\/a>,<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Political Science, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/profilepages\/view_profile.php?username=tiniop\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pablo Tinio, <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Educational Foundations).
