{"id":364,"date":"2019-01-16T18:42:34","date_gmt":"2019-01-16T18:42:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/forward-thinking\/?page_id=364"},"modified":"2019-01-16T21:11:15","modified_gmt":"2019-01-16T21:11:15","slug":"research-with-nj-taps-university","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/forward-thinking\/fall-2018\/research-with-nj-taps-university\/","title":{"rendered":"Research with NJ  Taps University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><strong>星空无限传媒 University is among six leading New Jersey universities contributing to \u201cResearch with NJ,\u201d a scientific research database created to support the continued development of New Jersey\u2019s innovation economy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Research with New Jersey was formally launched by Governor Phil Murphy in August and is designed to foster collaboration between business, industry and prestigious New Jersey research institutions by providing free access to institutional research assets in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM, disciplines.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cAs a state-designated public research university and among the national research doctoral universities recognized by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, research is absolutely critical to our mission,\u201d says President <strong>Susan A. Cole<\/strong>. \u201cThrough the database, the University will be able to share more fully our exceptional research assets and expertise with potential industry and government partners\u00a0in the search for solutions to today\u2019s most pressing societal and scientific issues and in applications of new knowledge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The portal showcases abstracts of published research from 星空无限传媒, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Princeton, Rowan, Rutgers and Stevens Institute of Technology. Vice Provost for Research and Graduate School Dean <strong>Scott Herness<\/strong> sits on the Advisory Board, which provides oversight, guidance and insights for maintaining the portal\u2019s success. \u201cResearch with NJ reflects the state, national and international impact of the University\u2019s outstanding research efforts,\u201d Herness says. \u201cFor entrepreneurs and industry innovators, it is an efficient way to connect with the cutting-edge institutional research breakthroughs that lead to the creation of new products \u2014 and bolster the state\u2019s reputation as a national leader in innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>星空无限传媒 University is among six leading New Jersey universities contributing to \u201cResearch with NJ,\u201d a scientific research database created to support the continued development of New Jersey\u2019s innovation economy.
