Open Enrollment is your yearly opportunity to review benefits and make changes for the next calendar year. All changes made during Open Enrollment will be <strong>effective on January 1, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Enrollment<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>No action is required<\/strong><\/span> if you do not wish to change or modify your medical plan.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Action is required<\/strong><strong> for the dental plans<\/strong><\/span> if you are currently enrolled in the Cigna, Horizon or Metlife dental plans and do not want to be auto-enrolled in the Aetna Dental Maintenance Organization (DMO).<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Action is required<\/strong><\/span> to enroll and re-enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Flexible Spending Accounts<\/h3>\n<p>If you would like to participate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/human-resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/181\/2024\/09\/2025-Horizon-NJ-TaxSave-Resource-Guide-9-12-24-FINAL.pdf?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=open_enrollment_ending&amp;utm_campaign=oct_28_2024\">Tax$ave Medical and\/or Dependent Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)<\/a> in 2025, <strong>you must enroll<\/strong> in the FSA plan(s) during Open Enrollment.<\/p>\n<p>Enrollment in the Tax$ave FSAs <strong>do not<\/strong> renew automatically from plan year to plan year. <strong>You must re-enroll every year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Enroll directly with Horizon online by visiting, <a href=\"https:\/\/horizonmyway-enroll.hellofurther.com\/portal\/601050\/login?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=open_enrollment_ending&amp;utm_campaign=oct_28_2024\">HorizonBlue.com\/enrollfsa<\/a> or call <a href=\"tel:1-866-999-3531\">1-866-999-3531.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Open Enrollment period for the State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) and New Jersey Tax$ave Program ends on Thursday, October 31.
