However, we are sharing this early notice to ensure employees are aware of the upcoming Special Open Enrollment opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>As soon as additional information becomes available from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/treasury\/pensions\/hb-info-active.shtml\">NJDPB<\/a>, including plan details, comparisons, and rate charts, it will be shared with the campus community.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Why Is There a Special Enrollment Period?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The State has shared that updates to SHBP medical plan offerings for 2026 are expected. This Special Open Enrollment will allow employees to review available medical plan options and make changes if they choose.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Special Open Enrollment applies only to employees who are currently enrolled in medical plans.
