All changes made during this enrollment period will be effective <strong>Wednesday, July 1, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>What&#8217;s New?<\/h3>\n<p>We continue to provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the current and future needs of our valued employees and their eligible dependents. We understand the importance of offering a range of plan options that can accommodate each employee\u2019s unique circumstances and priorities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>During this period, all employees will be automatically enrolled in the <a href=\"https:\/\/acrobat.adobe.com\/id\/urn:aaid:sc:US:3ca80fbe-fc34-4e64-b1a2-af58fb191e58?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=human_resources&amp;utm_content=mar_30_2026&amp;utm_campaign=update_special_open_enrollment\">New &#8220;26&#8221; Plan<\/a> with the same carrier, and new ID cards will be issued.<\/li>\n<li>To review plan options, rates, and benefit resources, please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/treasury\/pensions\/hb-active-shbp.shtml?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=human_resources&amp;utm_content=mar_30_2026&amp;utm_campaign=update_special_open_enrollment\">NJSHBP<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Special Open Enrollment applies only to employees <em>currently enrolled<\/em> in a medical plan. Employees cannot add dependents.<\/li>\n<li>Horizon MyWay Tax$ave will be updating their systems, and employees enrolled will receive new FSA cards effective July 1, 2026.\n<ul>\n<li>For questions regarding FSA, please contact Horizon MyWay at 1-888-215-0025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Enrollment<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No action is required:<\/strong> Employees who do not wish to make any changes will automatically be defaulted to the 2026 version of their current medical plan and will receive new ID cards.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Action is required.<\/strong> Employees who wish to make changes to their medical plan. can log into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/treasury\/pensions\/?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=human_resources&amp;utm_content=mar_30_2026&amp;utm_campaign=update_special_open_enrollment\">Benefitsolver<\/a> to review the plan options.<\/li>\n<li>Beginning April 1, 2026, employees will be able to log into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/treasury\/pensions\/?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=human_resources&amp;utm_content=mar_30_2026&amp;utm_campaign=update_special_open_enrollment\">Benefitsolver<\/a> via <a href=\"https:\/\/my.nj.gov\/aui\/Login?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=human_resources&amp;utm_content=mar_30_2026&amp;utm_campaign=update_special_open_enrollment\">MyNewJersey portal<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www4.benefitsolver.com\/benefits\/BenefitSolverView?page_name=signon&amp;co_num=31756&amp;co_affid=stateofnewjersey&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=human_resources&amp;utm_content=mar_30_2026&amp;utm_campaign=update_special_open_enrollment\">nj.gov<\/a> to review plan options and make changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Informational Webinars<\/h3>\n<p>Both <strong>Aetna and Horizon<\/strong> will host informational webinars to help employees understand the Special Open Enrollment plan changes and available plan options.
