To understand implications for you, check below for the group to which you belong.<\/p>\n<h1>Faculty, Staff or Student<\/h1>\n<p><strong>All new faculty, staff and students<\/strong> can activate their new NetID using the <a href=\"https:\/\/iams-amc.montclair.edu\/page-account-claiming\">NetID Account Management Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>New students<\/strong> will find their NetID in their Acceptance letter. New students accepted before March 19, 2019 who have not yet activated their NetID will need to contact the Admissions office to obtain their NetID.<\/li>\n<li><strong>New faculty and staff <\/strong>will find their NetID in the welcome email sent by HR. Any new employee who has not received their NetID should contact HR.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Current employees<\/strong> were notified by email in June to reset their NetID password within two weeks through the NetID Account Management Center.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employees who failed to reset their password within the two weeks saw their password expire and lost access to University email and applications.<\/li>\n<li>Employees can reset their password using the <a href=\"https:\/\/iams-amc.montclair.edu\/page-password-reset-initial\">Reset Password for the First Time, or Reset Forgotten or Expired Password link<\/a>. The reset process requires that a personal email and personal cell phone be set in the Home Contacts section of Workday.<\/li>\n<li>Employees who did not set this information in Workday or who experience any issues during the reset process should contact the IT Service desk at <a href=\"tel:973-655-7971\">973-655-7971<\/a> or <a href=\"mailto:ITservicedesk@montclair.edu\">ITservicedesk@montclair.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Current students<\/strong> can change their password using the <a href=\"https:\/\/iams-auth.montclair.edu\">Change the password on your already active account link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Any faculty, staff or students who have forgotten their password<\/strong> can use the <a href=\"https:\/\/iams-amc.montclair.edu\/page-password-reset-initial\">Reset Password for the First Time, or Reset Forgotten or Expired Password link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h1>Professor Emeritus<\/h1>\n<p>For now, Professors Emeriti who would like to change their password should continue to use the <a href=\"https:\/\/netid.montclair.edu\/\">NetID Account Form<\/a>. They will be notified in the future when they are moved into the new NetID Account Management Center.\u00a0 \u00a0They should see no changes to their access of MSU email.<\/p>\n<h1>Affiliate<\/h1>\n<p>For now, affiliates (any individual who has a NetID but is not an employee, student, or emeritus) who would like to change their password should continue to use the <a href=\"https:\/\/netid.montclair.edu\/\">NetID Account Form<\/a>.
