The launch of ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence tools which produce convincingly-human work has sparked significant conversation in higher education surrounding their use and impact in our classrooms.<\/p>\n

ITDS<\/span> is pleased to announce the following resources to support ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ faculty through navigating and addressing these new technologies:<\/p>\n

  1. ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence Webpage<\/strong><\/a>: Not sure where to begin? This webpage overviews the capabilities of artificial intelligence tools and offers specific instructional design strategies to address them in your courses.<\/li>\n
  2. New Workshop: Responding to ChatGPT with Effective Instructional Design:<\/strong><\/a> Join us on Thursday, February 23 at 10:00am for our newest workshop, Responding to ChatGPT with Effective Instructional Design<\/em>, where we provide a hands-on demonstration of the tool with opportunities to explore it within your own subject matter, strategies and approaches for responding to it in your classroom, and considerations on leveraging the tool and its potential benefits.<\/li>\n
  3. One-on-One Consultations<\/strong><\/a>: ITDS<\/span> now offers one-on-one consultations to discuss strategies for addressing the impact of ChatGPT and artificial intelligence, such as brainstorming alternative forms of assessment to mitigate AI-produced submissions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
