Significant changes include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NSF will require use of an NSF-approved format in submission of the biographical sketch and current and pending support documents, once the PAPPG (NSF 20-1) becomes effective;\n<ul>\n<li>NSF is partnering with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/sciencv\/\">SciENcv: Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae<\/a> as an NSF-approved format for preparation of both documents.<\/li>\n<li>Use of an NSF-approved format will not be required until implementation of PAPPG 20-1 on June 1, 2020.<\/li>\n<li>To assist the community, NSF has developed websites with additional information for the preparation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/bfa\/dias\/policy\/biosketch.jsp\">biographical sketch<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/bfa\/dias\/policy\/cps.jsp\">current and pending support<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>New requirement for providing e-mail documentation of Program Officer approval for the submission of RAPID and EAGER proposals; and<\/li>\n<li>Clarifications to current and pending support coverage as well as other changes throughout the document.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You are encouraged to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/pubs\/policydocs\/pappg20_1\/sigchanges.jsp\">review the by-chapter summary of changes<\/a> provided in the Introduction section of the PAPPG.<\/p>\n<p>NSF plans to conduct a webinar covering these changes on <strong>February 6 at 2PM EST.\u00a0 <\/strong>Visit the webinar website to <a href=\"https:\/\/nsfgrantsconferences.com\/pappg-webinar-20\/\">register for this event<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While this version of the PAPPG becomes effective on June 1, 2020, in the interim, the guidelines contained in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/pubs\/policydocs\/pappg19_1\/index.jsp\">current PAPPG (NSF 19-1)<\/a> continue to apply.<\/p>\n<p>A PDF version of the PAPPG will be available in the coming weeks.\u00a0 If you have any questions regarding these changes, please contact the Office of Sponsored Programs at <a href=\"mailto:osp@mail.montclair.edu\">osp@mail.montclair.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new PAPPG will be effective for proposals submitted or due, and awards made, on or after June 1, 2020.
