Cans for Citations

The Cans for Citations program will begin Monday, November 18 through Wednesday, November 22. Each non-expired canned, non-perishable item, dry good or personal hygiene item is worth $10 toward one open citation. Donating multiple items can cover the value of an entire citation. Example: a citation worth $50.00 may be paid using five (5) qualifying items. Open packages, glass jars and damaged or unlabeled items will not be accepted.

Items can be brought to the Parking Office on Level 1 of the Red Hawk Deck, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Only one (1) citation dismissal will be awarded.

Attend the following table events to get two (2) citations removed:

•  Monday, November 18, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., Montclair campus, Student Center, 2nd Floor Lobby
• Tuesday, November 19, 12-3 p.m., Bloomfield campus, Parking Office, 229 Liberty Street
• Wednesday, November 20, 12-3 p.m. Montclair campus, Red Hawk Pantry
• Thursday, November 21, 12-3 p.m., Montclair campus, Student Center, 2nd Floor Lobby
• Friday, November 22, 12-3p.m., Montclair campus, Student Center ,2nd Floor Lobby

The following citations will not be dismissed as part of the program:

• Tampering with University Equipment
• Shared Permit or Boot Violation
• Parking in Reserved Space, Grass, or Sidewalk
• Parked in Fire Lane or PWD Space Violation

Textbook Adoptions for Spring Semester

Faculty teaching winter session and spring semester courses can order textbooks and course materials from the University Bookstore. When faculty adopt textbooks through Follett, the University’s exclusive textbook and course materials provider, students benefit by being able to:

• easily see and obtain books and materials needed on both the University Bookstore website and in Canvas.
• seamlessly use financial aid dollars to cover textbook costs.
• access textbook scholarships that are only accepted at the University Bookstore.

How to use Follett Discover to adopt your textbooks and course materials:

• Log into Canvas with your Net ID and password.
• Select “Follett Discover” from the left-side menu.
• Start discovering!
