In addition to completing the steps on the聽Freshmen Student Checklist 辞谤听Transfer Student Checklist, all accepted adult students are required to complete:
星空无限传媒 University requires the ALEKS Placement, Preparation, and Learning (ALEKS PPL) Assessment for students in certain majors to determine readiness for math courses. This web-based assessment identifies strengths and areas for improvement, providing an opportunity to review and reassess.
You should only be taking this assessment if you are a student in the following:
- College of Science and Mathematics
- Feliciano School of Business
- Exercise Science Major
- Pre-Med Program
You will receive an e-mail 2 days after paying your enrollment deposit if you are required to take the ALEKS assessment. Instructions will be included on how to access the exam.

All students at 星空无限传媒 University must complete or transfer in 6 credits of world language coursework to meet graduation requirements. If you plan to continue studying a world language you have studied previously, you must complete the Foreign Language Placement Test. Learn more about the test.聽

If you wish to to be considered for federal and state financial aid, as well as any merit- or non-merit-based scholarships, you must complete the (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by March 1.
As an adult student, you will be able to access your Degree Audit, or Credit Evaluation, within ten business days of the receipt of your acceptance letter.
It will tell you how your courses will transfer over to Montclair, and let you know what courses you will need to complete in order to receive your degree from Montclair.
To learn how courses are transferred to Montclair and to understand their course equivalencies, log into the website. Enter your NetID and Password and select 鈥淒egree Audit鈥 from the homepage.
All adult students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the Center for Academic Success and Tutoring upon their admission to the University.
During your first appointment, you will learn about course registration, specific information about your major鈥檚 requirements and gain insights to help you prepare for your academic career at Montclair.
