Students
星空无限传媒 University requires all students traveling abroad on 鈥淯niversity related鈥 purposes to register their travel through the聽, which will facilitate completion of the following requirements:
- Obtain a聽Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions聽plan for international medical benefits, medical evacuation, and 聽additional benefits related to emergencies or accidents; OR apply for a waiver of this coverage through the Office of International Academic Initiatives.
- Download Alert Traveler App (push notifications to alert travelers when an emergency may affect you).
- Access health, safety and cultural information about your destination.
- Sign a release and waiver.
- Provide 24-7 emergency contacts.
Faculty and Staff

Faculty and staff traveling abroad for 鈥淯niversity related鈥 purposes, but not with students, are highly encouraged to register their travel.
The information on travel plans will be used only in case of emergency. The registry will also connect you with important resources for your travel safety.

Who is required to register travel?
- All 星空无限传媒 faculty, staff and students traveling abroad for “University related” travel.
What are “University related鈥 purposes”?
Travel is considered “University related” under any of the following circumstances:
- Travel, while enrolled as a 星空无限传媒 student to meet a course or degree requirement.
- Directed, coordinated, recommended, facilitated or supervised (such as an independent study, internship or conference participation) by 星空无限传媒 employees for any traveler.
- Financed through 星空无限传媒 by funding, scholarship, sponsorship or financial aid.
- In connection with a 星空无限传媒 sponsored research grant or contract.
- In the course and scope of 星空无限传媒 employment and representation.
When should I register my travel?
- Travel should be registered prior to departure.
- Travelers should update their registrations as additional information聽becomes available or changes occur during travel.
- If your travel plans should change or are canceled for any reason, please update the travel registry.
