Community Partners

ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University has more than 18,000 potential student volunteers. The Volunteer Center (VC) exists to help those students interested in volunteering identify and connect with one-time, short-term or long-term service projects. The VC depends on community partnerships. If you represent a non-profit or community-based organization and would like to recruit ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ volunteers, please contact the VC.

Community-Engaged Learning

Community-Engaged learning is a form of experiential education that provides college students with an opportunity to link academic study with real-world experience. Service learning programs are course-based and credit-bearing. Students enrolled in a community-engaged learning class receive college credit for participating in an organized community service project that complements their coursework. Requests to participate in a community-engaged learning program must be submitted in advance. For more information:
